  • Step 1 Wash and chop the potatoes :

    To begin with, wash and clean the potatoes under running water. Then, using a clean chopping board, chop them and keep them aside until needed again. (You can also peel the skin, if it is too thick)

  • Step 2 Deep fry the potatoes :

    Once done, put a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and heat refined oil in it. Carefully, add in the potatoes slices and deep-fry them until they get a crispy texture and golden-brown colour. Make sure to transfer them to tissue to discard any excess oil.

  • Step 3 Add seasonings and serve :

    Now, add chilli powder on the fried potato slices followed by roasted cumin powder, salt and black salt. Mix well, until the fries are coated completely with the masala. Serve hot with any dip of your choice!
